Activate an inactive customer. Customer did not receive activation email. In-store activation of new loyalty member.
A customer's record may remain in an Inactive state, if they haven't clicked the link in their confirmation email, or a variety of other reasons. You can force activate a customer from the Thirdshelf Console.
Navigate to the Members screen.
- Search for the customer using First Name or Last Name or email address
- Check the checkbox next to their record
- If they indeed are in an Inactive state -- indicated by a yellow circle under "Active", then the Activate button will show.
- Click the Activate button to activate them immediately.
Your customer now has full access to their rewards, and if one is available, you can redeem it immediately.
