Data synch. Product update. Customer information not showing up. Product categories not appearing.
Trying to create an earning rule, segment or frequent buyer program but product categories or customer groups aren't appearing in Thirdshelf? Say no more! In general synchronization happens overnight every 24 hours after you have first connected your POS to your Thirdshelf account.
Customer types, birthdays, product categories and brands will all synchronize every 24 hours automatically.
Since Springboard uses custom Fields we need to manually map to them. Once you have completed all the steps of the initial connection, you will need to send an email to support@thirdshelf with a screenshot of the custom field. We can do a total of 3 mappings:
- Customers - Usually mapped to a drop down field for Birthday months in Springboard
- Products - Used for product categories, often mapped to the Department field in Springboard
- Brand - Can be mapped to any other custom field
Once we have completed the initial mapping, any changes made to these categories will synchronize over night every 24 hours.
